Quintas Terranova are four self-sustainable homes on approximately one-third acre home sites on the East Cape of Los Cabos, Mexico.

Quaint homes designed with the Baja adventurer in mind

The 1,541 square foot main home offers an open great room with kitchen and island, dining and living area, which leads to a patio terrace overlooking the desert garden. The principal bedroom offers a desk, private patio, and en-suite bath. The guest bedroom has a desk and closet with private patio. A 680 square foot garage has room for two SUV’s, side by side or dune buggy with room for toy storage and an outdoor shower. The garage has an outdoor shower and will be rough plumbed for a two-piece bathroom. The second level outdoor living space captures vast desert and mountain vistas with blue water ocean views to the southeast and southwest. This upper living space allows outdoor living with space for grill station and outdoor kitchen area with island, and fire-pit and is covered with a shade pergola where the solar panels are mounted. The house is self-sufficient with solar and battery power, back-up generator and water storage. Home is due for completion spring 2024. Plunge pool, third bedroom and fire-pit upgrade available.

Attending the University of North Dakota, Craig received a degree in Business Administration and entered the technology industry building experience in sales, operations, finance and legal. A majority of his career has been with small, innovative startups helping them develop sales and go-to-market strategies that ultimately lead to sustainable growth. Craig, and his wife Jane, live in Southern California but have grown to love the Los Cabos area, people, culture, and all the amenities Baja living has to offer. In 2019 they made their first property purchase in the East Cape at Bahia Terranova II with plans to build and be an active part of the community. This led to Craig teaming with Janet Jensen to start Casas TrauJen (or Quintas Terranova) with the vision of developing and offering self-sustaining, cost approachable single family homes which cater to the lifestyles of those who love the East Cape.
